Four Women’s Evolving Moods & Perspectives
The Four Seasons project is a modern day adaptation of earlier artistic works of Alphonz Mucha and Antonio Vivaldi. Although the stage for this artistic project was set some one hundred years earlier with Alphonz Mucha’s three renditions of the four seasons, the mood and inspiration comes from a set of four violin concertos by Antonio Vivaldi, composed in 1723.
Each panel is an 18″x36″ oil painting on a custom gesso panel with a 1-1/2 cradel. These modern depictions were the inspiration for a work of literary prose writen by Allison Malafronte, a writter / artist from New York City.
